Once someone is found to be electrocuted, the following procedures should be followed to save the person:
1. It is necessary to quickly disconnect the electric shock from the power source. The power switch should be turned off or the power plug should be unplugged immediately. If you can't find or disconnect the power supply in time, you can use a dull mallet, bamboo pole and other insulating materials to pick up the wire.
2. After disconnecting from the power supply, quickly move the electrocuted person to a ventilated and dry place to lie on his back, relax his shirt and trouser belt, and check whether he is breathing; feel the artery on the neck to see if there is a pulse.
3. Perform first aid. If the electric shock person stops breathing and heartbeat, they should alternately perform mouth-to-mouth artificial respiration and cardiac compression, and call an ambulance.
4. Take it to the hospital as soon as possible, and do not stop the rescue during transportation.
keep in mind:
● Do not use wet tools or metal objects to remove wires.
● Do not touch the electric shock person with your hands before the electric shock person is disconnected from the power source.
● Do not use wet objects to move the person with electric shock.
